A quick and easy snack board featuring a variety of cheeses, crackers, and accompaniments, perfect for entertaining or a cozy solo snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 varieties of cheese (e.g., aged cheddar sliced or cubed, brie or camembert wedges, manchego or gouda slices)
  • Assorted crackers (water crackers, whole grain or multigrain crackers, seeded crackers)
  • Fig jam or honey
  • Mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • Pickled vegetables or olives
  • Fresh fruit slices (apple, pear, or grapes)
  • Optional: charcuterie items like prosciutto or salami
  • Optional: fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme

Instructions

  1. Slice or cube the harder cheeses into bite-sized pieces about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Slice soft cheeses like brie into wedges or keep whole for spreading.
  3. Arrange the cheeses spaced out on a wooden or slate serving board.
  4. Fan out or stack assorted crackers around the cheeses.
  5. Fill small bowls with jams, nuts, and pickled vegetables and place them around the board.
  6. Garnish with fresh fruit slices and sprigs of fresh herbs.
  7. If using, fold slices of prosciutto or salami into loose ribbons and nestle among cheeses and crackers.
  8. Sprinkle cracked black pepper or sea salt flakes over the cheeses.
  9. Serve at room temperature for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Serve cheese at room temperature for best flavor. Keep crackers separate until serving to avoid sogginess. Wrap leftovers tightly and refrigerate; consume within 2-3 days. Warm soft cheeses slightly before serving if desired.
