This quick and easy pumpkin spice cold foam coffee is made with simple ingredients like milk, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup. It delivers a velvety, coffee shop-quality drink in just five minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cold milk (whole milk works best, but 2% or oat milk are great too)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or cold brew
  • Ice cubes (enough to fill your glass)
  • Optional: a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee or prepare your cold brew. If using hot coffee, let it cool for a few minutes so it doesn’t melt your ice too quickly.
  2. Fill your glass with ice cubes, about 3/4 full.
  3. Pour the coffee over the ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top for the cold foam.
  4. In a small bowl or jar, combine the cold milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Whisk briefly to break up the pumpkin puree.
  5. Froth the mixture using a handheld frother for 30-45 seconds until thick and creamy.
  6. Spoon the cold foam gently over the top of your coffee to keep the layers distinct.
  7. Optional: sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, use very cold milk and whole milk for thick foam. Don’t over-frothβ€”stop at 45 seconds. If pumpkin puree is clumpy, press it through a strainer before adding to milk. The unfrothed mixture can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
