A quick and festive Halloween charcuterie board featuring candy corn, cheese, meats, and crackers. Ready in 20 minutes with simple ingredients, perfect for parties and school events.

Ingredients

  • Cheddar cheese block, cut into cubes or slices
  • Gouda or white cheddar, sliced
  • Salami or pepperoni, sliced
  • Prosciutto or ham, thinly sliced
  • Pretzel sticks or twists
  • Ritz crackers or butter crackers
  • Pita chips or baguette slices
  • Candy corn, about 1 cup
  • Black olives, whole or sliced
  • Red grapes or blackberries
  • Pumpkin seeds or roasted pepitas (optional)
  • Plastic spider rings or Halloween picks (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • Edible glitter or orange sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place 2-3 small ramekins or bowls on your board. Fill one with candy corn, one with black olives, and one with any dip you like.
  2. Cut your cheddar into 1-inch cubes or thin slices. Arrange them in small clusters around the board. Place the gouda or white cheddar slices in a separate spot.
  3. Fold salami slices into quarters or roll them into little tubes. Lay them near the cheddar. For prosciutto, gently scrunch it into loose piles.
  4. Fan out crackers in small clusters around the board. Stick pretzel sticks upright in the candy corn bowl. Layer pita chips along the edges.
  5. Scatter red grapes or blackberries in the empty spaces. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds or pepitas over the board. Tuck rosemary sprigs between items.
  6. Place plastic spider rings on the board. Dust a little edible glitter over the candy corn if desired. Adjust anything that looks bare and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep cheese at room temperature for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the board. Use color contrast for visual appeal. Prep all ingredients before arranging. Can be assembled the day before and stored covered in the refrigerator; let sit out for 15 minutes before serving.
