  • 1 cup (100 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup (100 g) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Blend with an electric mixer on medium speed or whisk until creamy and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in shredded sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses with a spatula until evenly mixed.
  4. Mix in garlic powder, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as desired.
  5. Gently fold in finely chopped green onions and fresh dill (if using).
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and spread evenly.
  7. Generously sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the top, covering as much surface as possible.
  8. Optional: Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld. If too thick after chilling, stir in a teaspoon of milk or cream to loosen.
