  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (such as avocado or canola oil)
  • Optional: fresh lime juice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Husk the corn and cut each ear lengthwise into four equal ribs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, white miso paste, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Lightly brush or spoon neutral oil over each corn rib, then spread a generous amount of the miso butter glaze on each side.
  5. Place the corn ribs in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  6. Air fry for 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
  7. Flip each corn rib using tongs, brush on another thin layer of miso butter glaze, and air fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.
  8. Check doneness; if desired, air fry 2 more minutes for extra crispness, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  9. Serve immediately, optionally squeezing fresh lime juice over the ribs.
